Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manger. Position Details: Mercy South 10010 Kennerly Rd St. Louis, MO 63128 Weekend Supervisor - Orthopedics Full Time Days, 36 hours/week 7a-7p, Fri/Sat/Sun Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire. Experience Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required. Preferred Qualifications Supervisor experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
