General Purpose Provide support as an administrative resource to the laboratory and quality assurance departments. Provide assistance in the development, monitoring, and maintenance of food safety and quality programs and records. Job Duties and Responsibilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent * Post-secondary education related to food science, biological science, or related sciences preferred * 1 to 3 years of quality systems, food safety, production, or related experience in a food manufacturing environment * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment such as SQF, HACCP and PCQI certifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems * Able to prepare technical reports and procedures * Able to keep good records (record keeping skill) * Able to prioritize tasks and work independently * Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail * Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans | |
