As a Security Officer Badge Desk in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support professional visitor processing. In this customer-facing role, you will help promote a secure environment through strong communication and attention to detail, while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to control access to docks, gates, offices, and other restricted areas within the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and/or irregular conditions according to post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Support site operations by communicating with drivers, visitors, employees, and site contacts regarding access procedures, delivery check-in processes, and/or directions while maintaining professional conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
