We are seeking a dynamic, leadership-driven Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager to take full ownership of their upcoming site in Charlotte, NC. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-backed, expanding global project from the ground floor. In this role, you will serve as the primary leader on the ground, overseeing daily operations, team performance, and customer experience. Crucially, you will act as the key bridge between the retail floor and corporate headquarters, ensuring that brand standards, operational goals, and strategic initiatives are executed seamlessl Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily
operations, including opening/closing, inventory control, visual merchandising, and cash management. - Maintain consistent
communication with corporate headquarters to report on sales performance, local market trends, and operational needs. - Recruit, train, and
manage a team of retail associates; foster a positive, energetic, and compliant work environment. - Ensure interactive areas
are operating smoothly and delivering an unforgettable fan experience. - Drive local community
engagement to build a loyal customer base for the Charlotte location.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience
in retail, customer service, or hospitality (Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Lead experience is a huge plus!). - Excellent communication,
interpersonal, and organizational skills. - A strong passion for or
knowledge of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture. - Analytical mindset with
the ability to track sales data, manage inventory, and optimize staff schedules. - Flexibility to work
retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs dictate. - Ability to work a
flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
