Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a sophisticated attorney with no less than 10 years of experience to join our Washington, DC office as an Of Counsel in our national Health Care Practice Group. Qualified candidates must possess substantial experience in health care regulatory matters, with a focus on advising health care industry clients.
Candidates should have experience navigating federal and state health care regulatory frameworks, including advising on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, compliance matters, and fraud and abuse considerations. Experience counseling clients in connection with government investigations, audits, and complex regulatory questions is required. Experience working with telehealth and digital health companies is strongly preferred, including advising on regulatory strategy, corporate structure, and the development and expansion of virtual care platforms. Candidates should be comfortable providing practical, business-oriented advice and working directly with clients on complex and evolving industry issues. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and analytical skills, the ability to manage complex matters independently, and experience working directly with clients at a senior level. A willingness to mentor junior attorneys is expected. Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and communication skills are required. To be considered, candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be in good standing and an active member of the District of Columbia Bar. In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary for this position is $450,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
