The Executive Manager - OEM Strategic Initiatives develops and maintains relationships with airframe, engine and avionics original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) as well as selected 2nd Tier vendors of the airframe, engine and avionics OEM's and contacts the OEM's and vendors on a regular basis to pursue new business opportunities / develop initiatives where Duncan Aviation can further expand our partnership and support of the OEM. These initiatives may include, but are not limited to, improved communications, additional authorizations, business development, developing new contacts and business relationships; STC development; manufacturing, repair and exchange related services through Duncan Manufacturing Solutions (DMS); Parts and Rotables Sales Services, etc. This position leads assigned OEM programs to ensure Duncan Aviation meets all contractual obligations in our Authorized Service Center (ASC) Agreements and achieves financial and customer service goals and objectives; conducts periodic and annual reviews of the current OEM agreements and objectives and accommodates for future updates and opportunities. Serves as a company liaison regarding issues related to assigned OEM programs; participates in various department and multi-department meetings within the company and maintains visibility in the industry through involvement with OEM's, trade associations, customer events, etc. In addition, this position demonstrates a high level of commitment to customer service and satisfaction; consistently maintains a positive attitude and uses open and honest communication techniques; leads by example, demonstrates initiative and attention to detail, and projects a professional image consistent with Duncan Aviation's identity, mission and goals. Essential Job Functions
- Manages assigned OEM ("Program") activities to ensure we meet our current goals/ obligations as well as exploring and pursuing new business opportunities, evaluating these opportunities for cost/benefit value, and making recommendations for developing new business relationships with the OEM's that will achieve mutually beneficial results.
- Creates, coordinates and leads Duncan Aviation's short-term and long-term strategic planning for the assigned Programs. Fosters and maintains strong external working relationships with OEM's, as well as strong internal working relationships with the Senior Management Team, Production Managers, Project Managers, Sales, PRS, Engine, Paint, and other involved departments across all locations in the Enterprise to ensure cooperation and success with projects.
- Coordinates and leads periodic and annual reviews of the assigned Programs with an established rolling action item list, ensuring to include all locations across the Enterprise. Prepares and presents regular Program financial
- Participates in the development of the DMS annual strategic plans and promotes the marketing communications campaigns that effectively describe and promote the capabilities of the DMS Department to the OEM's.
- Participates in the development, negotiation, administration, and revisions or Amendments to the assigned Program contracts and/or preferred pricing arrangements. Reviews contracts and coordinates with all affected departments. Consolidates and prepares operational comments and suggestions for Duncan Aviation's Legal department. Coordinates the negotiations with the OEM and ensures timelines of completion are met.
- Serves as point-of contact for questions and issues relative to the assigned Programs. Researches disputes, recommends mutually beneficial solutions, and follows-up to ensure prompt and appropriate resolution. Works closely with all departments at Duncan Aviation to develop and foster effective working relationships with OEM's and assists with resolution efforts as needed.
- Encourages and coordinates visits with the OEM's to both the OEM locations and Duncan Aviation locations across the Enterprise to showcase the capabilities of the organization.
- Attends and coordinates internal stakeholder meetings for industry events such as NBAA, MRO Americas, and OEM M&O's.
- Participates in personal development opportunities and demonstrates leadership and professionalism at all times.
- Performs other related duties as required by Senior Management Team.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation, or related field or equivalent required
- Minimum five (5) years Business Aviation Management or Senior Leadership experience required.
- Experience reviewing, understanding, and negotiating contracts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
