Location: Permulab Sdn Bhd, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for scientific services and client relationship management? Permulab Sdn Bhd, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing and calibration laboratory, is looking for an energetic Assistant Business Development Manager to support our growing business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to promote laboratory testing and calibration services.
2. Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
3. Respond to client inquiries, provide quotations, and follow up on proposals.
4. Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
5. Conduct regular customer visits, prepare sales reports, and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems.
6. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in line with company policies and market conditions.
7. Support key account management, client onboarding, and after-sales service.
8. Collaborate with technical and quality teams to understand client needs and ensure accurate communication.
9. Contribute to market analysis and identify emerging trends in testing services.
10. Maintain CRM database and prepare periodic sales reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in a laboratory or technical service industry.
3. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory operations is an advantage.
4. Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings and business development activities.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
