Job description The Team

Join a collaborative SAP delivery team supporting a large automotive client in an established S/4HANA environment. This team partners closely with product owners, business stakeholders, technical developers, IT teams, and AMS support teams to deliver enhancements, testing, deployment, and ongoing innovation across SAP MM/PTP processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP MM solution knowledge, clear communication, and the ability to work across business and technical teams to support project-based delivery in a complex enterprise environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM/PTP Consultant to support solution analysis, functional specification development, testing, deployment, and enhancement delivery within an existing SAP S/4HANA environment. This is not a traditional AMS ticket-taking role or a heavy configuration-only role. The consultant will analyze business requirements, assess solution feasibility, prepare or update functional specifications, coordinate with technical teams, support development, execute testing, obtain approvals, and help transition solutions to production and AMS support. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP MM/PTP process knowledge, S/4HANA experience, Fiori transaction exposure, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP MM functional experience
  • Strong Procure-to-Pay process knowledge within SAP MM
  • Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, preferably version 2020 or higher
  • Experience executing SAP transactions through Fiori
  • Ability to prepare and update functional specifications
  • Experience supporting interfaces, enhancements, development coordination, and testing
  • Strong experience with FUT, integration testing, UAT, deployment, and documentation
  • Understanding of SDLC methodology, including Agile and/or Waterfall delivery
  • Strong integration knowledge with FI, SD, and EWM
  • Strong collaboration skills across business, IT, product owners, developers, and AMS teams
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand, analyze, and validate business requirements
  • Evaluate solution feasibility and recommend appropriate SAP MM/PTP solutions
  • Prepare and update functional specifications, including test scenarios
  • Coordinate with technical teams during development and technical specification completion
  • Prepare test data and perform functional unit testing
  • Support integration testing, UAT, approvals, and documentation
  • Assist with deployment planning and production release activities
  • Provide knowledge transfer to AMS/support teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, IT, and developers
Preferred Skills
  • Jira experience
  • ServiceNow/SNOW experience
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
  • 1-2 full lifecycle SAP project/go-live experiences
