Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Region Maintenance Support is responsible to lead Maintenance Transformation activities at Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (BBU) manufacturing facilities to improve equipment reliability.Transformation activities will focus on three areas of maintenance (personnel, operating and management system).The Manager Region Maintenance Support will lead the activities of the Transformation team engaged in assessing current state of maintenance and developing/executing action plans to close the identified gaps.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Assess maintenance processes and programs against corporate strategy and national plan to identify gaps that need to be addressed to achieve world class asset reliability in the following subjects:
oUtilization of CMMS.
oPM Planning, execution and executing.
oTraining and development Plans for Maintenance leaders and associates
oKPI tracking/utilization
oSpare Parts inventory control/management.
oRoot Cause Problem Solving
oEnsure compliance with corporate strategy and other world class initiatives.
Lead development and implementation of National Initiatives as part of National Strategy.
Work with plant engineers to build and execute action plans to address gaps in maintenance program to achieve sustainable asset reliability
Teach, mentor, and coach bakery maintenance leaders to:
oUtilize Root Cause Problem solving techniques
oAnalyze KPIs and use statistical analysis to improve department performance
oEffectively plan work
oCoach/develop maintenance associates
  • Develop content for BBU Maintenance playbook
oDevelop work standards and standardized procedures.
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 70% of the time.
Key Behavioral Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge in spare parts and inventory management is a plus.
  • Familiar with the principles of lean manufacturing
  • Leadership skills to create collaborative relationships/teamwork
Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading Maintenance Organization.
  • CMRP / CRL are a plus.
