Inova Research Center is looking for a dedicated Cancer Clinical Research Specialist 1 PRN to join the Team. This remote role will be PRN working evening-shift Monday - Friday.

The Cancer Clinical Research Specialist 1 assists investigators and research staff in the conduct of clinical research studies. Performs a variety of research, data, and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature to support the conduct of clinical research.

Cancer Clinical Research Specialist 1 Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the study sponsor and IRB, as required by the protocol and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the conduct and documentation of study visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews according to the study protocol.

  • Assists the research team in completing case report forms accurately and according to the protocol.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School or GED
  • Must be available to work late afternoon to early evening hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous research experience preferred.

  • Previous experience with medical terminology preferred.

  • Previous experience using Excel, REDCap, and Epic preferred.

This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states - VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.
