None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Sr. Manager of Trade Compliance reviews, analyzes, and approves all export actions to ensure compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) as they apply to operations within Alutiiq, LLC, its subsidiaries, and their operating units. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing, implementing, reviewing, distributing, and updating the Corporate Export Compliance program documentation. The position will also train colleagues on applicable export compliance related processes, procedures, and policies. The Sr Manager of Trade Compliance will review documents regarding export control policies, regulations, and U.S. Laws. They will provide analysis of export control requirements and considerations for various Alutiiq, LLC programs in support of our varied customer requirements. The position will also determine jurisdiction and classifications of hardware, software, and other technologies and materials. The position will require experience with ITAR and EAR program management within a Federal Government contractor, including, but not limited to export authorizations, export documentation, and other related export compliance functions. The Sr. Manager, Trade Compliance must be able to work under minimal day-to-day supervision and achieve the required result. They must exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to managing each activity and must communicate in a professional and effective manner with senior officials, coworkers, and outside agencies. This position will work closely with leaders across subsidiaries and at the corporate level to ensure trade compliance programs are developed and executed across all of Alutiiq, LLC. A high degree of flexibility with the ability to respond to changing priorities is important. The Sr. Manager, Trade Compliance will also serve as the Empowered Official for Alutiiq, LLC and its subsidiaries.
