The Office of Research (OoR) Sponsored Research Services Grants and Contracts department (SRS G&C) is a central, non-financial post-award office responsible for the review, negotiation, and approval of grant and contract awards from government, industry, and non-profit sponsors. SRS G&C also issues outgoing subawards under externally funded UC agreements and provides some pre-award proposal submission support for colleges that do not have grants administration staff. The SRS G&C department is currently hiring multiple experienced Sponsored Research Administrator 2s (SRA 2). The positions provide grant administration support to the greater UC research community. The SRA 2 candidates are expected to be well versed in grant administration, have the ability to make immediate contributions to the team, use their current skills while learning new ones, and adapt to the rapidly changing field. These positions offer opportunities for professional growth and advancement as well as a remote work option for approved employees. Essential Functions
