Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Radiology - Hybrid

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Radiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide radiology medical care within a blended setting. This position will be primary located in Milwaukee, WI at our Froedtert main campus with some offsite coverage at our RAYUS locations. TheAdvanced Practice Provider(APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time position within the Advanced Radiology Procedures Department (non-Interventional Radiology role).

  • Hybrid role combining radiology procedures with both inpatient and outpatient clinical care responsibilities.

  • Primary practice location at Froedtert main campus with additional coverage opportunities at affiliated RAYUS locations.

  • Includes weekend and holiday call coverage with premium pay provided in addition to base compensation.

  • Expanding APP responsibilities within the Department of Radiology, offering ongoing professional growth and development opportunities.

  • Department-supported CME allowance available through the Department of Radiology Academic Expense Policy.

Schedule:
  • Day shift position with a weekly approximation of 40 hours.

  • Flexible scheduling structure including 8-hour shifts with rotating 4-day/10-hour shift.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: Ideal Candidate will be a Radiologic experienced APP with technical proficiency, collaborative team player, and a passion for healthcare impact, wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW).

Minimum Education:

Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing
Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies

Minimum Requirements: *or eligible

Advanced Practice Nurse & Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner:

Wisconsin RN License

Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License

Adult Care and / or Acute Care Preferred

Will consider Family Practice and/or Geriatric NP

AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA

Physician Assistant:

Wisconsin Physician Assistant License

Certification by NCCPA

AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA

Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
