About the Brand Our mission is simple: bring back makeup that performs-products that last, shades that speak, and finishes that do the most. We give a stage to uncensored femininity and self-expression. If you live for sleek componentry, bold aesthetics, and flawless execution, come build the future of luxe beauty packaging with us.

About the Role Reporting directly to the Director of Packaging, the Packaging Production Designer bridges high-level creative vision with technical execution. You will translate concepts into production-ready primary and secondary packaging, balancing technical mechanical design with high-end visual rendering.

Key Focus & Responsibilities

  • Technical Packaging Engineering & Production (60%)

    • Build press-ready mechanicals, primary/secondary artwork, and complex dielines for luxury cosmetics (compacts, bottles, cartons).

    • Work directly with print vendors and packaging suppliers to review proofs, refine materials/finishes, and manage color control.
    • Maintain centralized design asset libraries (fonts, icons, dielines, templates) with strict file-naming protocols.
    • Partner with Product Development and Operations to ensure structural feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

  • 3D Visualization & Rendering (40%)

    • Create high-fidelity 3D renderings and visual mockups of packaging componentry for internal review and cross-functional alignment.

    • Translate initial 2D sketches and concept briefs into realistic 3D component visualizations.
    • Conduct competitive research to incorporate forward-thinking packaging materials, finishes, and 3D design trends into concepts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in packaging design with a portfolio demonstrating primary and secondary mechanicals and 3D renderings. Beauty, cosmetics, or luxury goods experience strongly preferred.
  • Core Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling/rendering software.
  • Supporting Tools: Familiarity with Figma, generative AI design workflows, and Mac OS.
  • Execution: Strong foundation in typography, dieline construction, bleed, registration, and color management with the ability to manage multiple SKUs simultaneously.
