Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Senior SDET) to provide technical leadership for quality engineering across our enterprise SaaS platforms. This role is responsible for defining and driving test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality standards across multiple development teams while remaining hands-on in critical areas of test automation.

The Senior SDET partners closely with EngineeringandProduct stakeholders to ensure scalable, reliable, and compliant software delivery in highly regulated environments. This role emphasizes leadership, strategy, and cross-team influence, with execution serving quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA and test strategy across multiple Agile teams
  • Own test scope, coverage, and traceability to requirements and acceptance criteriaIdentify quality risks in architecture/design and define mitigation plans
  • Ensure testing supports rapid production releases without compromising quality
  • Enforce QA standards, tools, and best practices across teams
  • Drive automation across integration, regression, smoke, performance, load, and migration testingIntegrate automation fully into CI/CD pipelines
  • Convert high-value manual tests into scalable automated suites
  • Review and optimize automation frameworks for efficiency and consistency
  • Perform hands-on automation and targeted manual testing for high-risk areas
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and partner with engineering on fixes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, planning)Lead and mentor distributed QA teams and partners
  • Continuously improve coverage, execution speed, and reliabilityIdentify process gaps and recommend improvements


Qualifications:

* 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering with strong automation focus
* 4+ years of hands-on experience withTypescript and Playwright as well asJava and Selenium
* Proven experience driving test strategy and automation across multiple teams
* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
* Experience validating complex, distributed, enterprise-scale systems
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and test architecture
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience



Preferred Qualifications



* Experience with performance and load testing
* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling
* Prior experience leading or mentoring QA teams
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
