Job Description

As part of Visa's Enablers organization, the Director, Software as a Service & Technology Enablers - Latin America is responsible for defining and executing the regional strategy for identifying, developing, and scaling technology partners that complement and extend Visa's value proposition across LAC.

This role leads the search, evaluation, and onboarding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and technology companies including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence platforms, digital agents and bots, automation solutions, data and analytics providers, and innovative credit and embedded finance solutions.

The Director owns the end-to-end orchestration of internal and external stakeholders required to successfully scale these partnerships across multiple markets, evolving from a limited number of tactical enablers into a structured, repeatable, and scalable SaaS ecosystem for the region.

This position requires a senior leader with strong strategic vision, deep understanding of technology and payments ecosystems, and the ability to translate innovation into commercially scalable outcomes in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the regional strategy for Software as a Service and Technology Enablers across Latin America, aligned with Visa's global priorities
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize technology companies that complement Visa's products and solutions, including AI-driven platforms, digital agents and bots, automation tools, and innovative credit and financing models
  • Lead the transition from ad-hoc or limited enabler partnerships to a scalable and standardized SaaS ecosystem deployable across multiple LAC markets
  • Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for SaaS and technology enablers, including value propositions, target segments, and commercialization models
  • Partner with regional and local sales teams to drive adoption, pipeline development, and revenue growth through technology-enabled solutions
  • Structure, negotiate, and execute complex partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Visa's product offerings, pricing, and legais frameworks
  • Act as an executive sponsor for key technology partners, fostering long-term, value-driven relationships
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Sales, Client Consulting, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure successful execution and scale
  • Define governance models, engagement frameworks, and operating processes to support efficient onboarding and expansion of enablers across markets
  • Oversee the development of scalable enablement materials, training programs, onboarding frameworks, and best practices for SaaS partners
  • Proactively educate the Visa organization on technology trends, market developments, and partner opportunities
  • Establish benchmarks, playbooks, and readiness models to accelerate regional expansion
  • Support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects aligned with innovation and ecosystem growth
  • Foster strong, trusted relationships at all levels within Visa and with external partners
  • Position reports to a regional Vice President or Senior Vice President and is based in the Miami office

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
12 or more years of relevant experience in technology, SaaS, fintech, payments, or digital platforms, with demonstrated leadership at regional or global scale
Proven success defining and executing strategy, go-to-market, and ecosystem development initiatives
Strong understanding of SaaS business models, platform economics, and technology-driven value propositions
Demonstrated experience building and scaling strategic partnerships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including large-group presentations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Ability to manage high complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate with a sense of urgency
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization
High level of professionalism, trust, and integrity in building internal and external relationships
Positive team player with proven ability to lead and project-manage complex initiatives with fluid schedules
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments
Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus

The estimated salary range for this positionis $151.600,00 to $ 242.800,00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
