We are partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Principal Full-Stack Developer to drive the design and delivery of a next-generation structured products trading platform UI. This is a highly visible role requiring both hands-on engineering expertise and technical leadership within a complex, enterprise environment. You will play a critical role in shaping modern front-end architecture, guiding engineering teams, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Salary:$180,000 - $200,000 base Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and development of a structured products trading UI using modern web technologies. Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering solutions, ensuring high quality and timely execution. Act as a hands-on engineer and architect, contributing directly to development while guiding technical decisions. Design, document, and plan technical solutions for production-ready software. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and business partners. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor. Drive best practices in software engineering, scalability, and performance optimization. Mentor team members and serve as a technical role model across projects. Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on development experience with Python or C# 5+ years of experience building front-end applications using React and modern state management frameworks Strong experience designing and deploying applications on AWS, including Terraform and Docker Proven ability to operate effectively within large, complex organizations(e.g., global financial institutions) Deep understanding of SQL and large-scale data persistence strategies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of global financial markets and financial products, with demonstrated interest in the domain Preferred Skills Experience building trading platforms or financial applications Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for real-time data applications Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What You'll Gain Opportunity to work on mission-critical trading systems High-impact role with visibility across business and technology leadership Collaborative, fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technologies Competitive compensation and long-term growth potential Estimated Min Rate: $140000.00 Estimated Max Rate: $200000.00 What's In It for You?
