Position Description We are currently seeking 3 Material Handlers for a full-time, temporary assignment located in Sandusky, MI (360 Thelma Street). This is a 3-month contract supporting a light industrial environment, with a target start date of June 5, 2026. The role is ideal for candidates with prior material handling experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Schedule & Work Details Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday Overtime: Potential required overtime on Fridays and Saturdays Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time) Assignment Type: Temporary (3 months) Worker Category: Hourly Onsite Requirement: Yes (not a remote role) Key Responsibilities Candidates will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse and material movement operations, including: Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility, yard, or designated work areas Reading and interpreting work orders or following verbal instructions to determine material movement needs Ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment Following all site safety protocols and operational procedures Required Qualifications Previous material handling experience is required (must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in a similar industrial or warehouse setting) Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to safety and organization Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting and moving materials throughout the shift Compliance Requirements (Post-Offer) All candidates must successfully complete the following prior to onboarding: Comprehensive Background Check, including: SSN Trace/Verification National Sex Offender Registry County (Felony/Misdemeanor) and Federal Criminal Checks National Criminal Database 4-Panel Drug Screen (Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine) Signed NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) Asset Return Form acknowledgment Orientation Acknowledgement Compensation Details Pay Rate: $16.28/hour (No Overtime rate specified in system) Bill Rate: $22.39/hour Markup: 37.50% No additional expenses or stipends included Submission Guidelines Submission Limit: Max 3 candidates per supplier No overall system cap per request Ensure candidates meet experience requirements and schedule availability before submission This is a replacement request, so timely, qualified submissions are critical Recruiting Focus / Target Profile Strong candidates will: Have prior experience in material handling, warehouse, or light industrial roles Be reliable and able to commit to early morning start times and potential overtime Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and ability to maintain organized workspaces Be available for the full 3-month duration without interruptions About Us At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
