What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose supplier production constraints, bottlenecks, and capability gaps to improve operational performance.
  • Drive initiatives focused on capacity modeling, lead-time reduction, and production flow optimization.
  • Establish KPI frameworks and operating routines that improve execution predictability and manufacturing stability.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers across regions and cultures to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Translate business priorities into structured supplier development programs and improvement roadmaps.
  • Develop scalable playbooks, training materials, and standard work from operational improvement efforts.
  • Influence stakeholders across matrixed organizations through technical expertise and collaborative leadership.
  • You will be part of the global Supplier Development function within Strategic Procurement at the client, responsible for strengthening supplier capability as a strategic lever for business performance and long-term competitiveness.
  • The team operates across regions, partnering closely with procurement, engineering, quality, and operations.
  • The function combines selective execution on priority supplier topics with a strong focus on enabling teams and harmonising supplier development practices across the enterprise.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in delivering measurable improvements in production systems, operations, or supplier capability in high-complexity industrial environments
What Sets You Apart:
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data, analytics, and emerging digital/AI-based tools to support decisions and performance discussions
  • Ability to document methods clearly and enable others through coaching and training
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations through collaboration and influence
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% (travel varies by supplier priorities and project phase)
