Intern, Full-Time - Maintenance in Granular Mechanics and Regolith Operations LOCATION:Cape Canaveral, FL JOB STATUS:Full-time CLEARANCE: BI investigation CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL:Limited; as needed Must be US citizen This temporary summer position is for a student studying in a science or engineer field. Work will be performed onsite at Kennedy Space Center in the Engineering, Scientific, and Research Laboratories. Work is performed under immediate supervision with guidance from scientists and engineers. Scientific disciplines include biology, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, physics, materials, corrosion, microbiology, plant physiology, plant and soil science, or related fields. Engineering disciplines include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, structures, materials, corrosion, nondestructive evaluation, thermal, fluids, image analysis, and chemical. The position will primarily provide support to the laboratories that they work in such as supporting project work, organizing, inventorying chemicals, developing documentation, etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
