Department Overview Through the Chief Investment Officer, the Investment Office team is responsible for managing the USC's Endowment in accordance with the policies set forth by the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees. The Endowment exists to support the academic mission of the University for current and future students. While the management of the Endowment is the primary responsibility of the Investment Office, it is also involved in the management of the university's defined benefit pension plan and charitable trust programs. The Position This position offers the opportunity to be a part of an experienced and thoughtful investment team directly involved in the management of a diverse investment portfolio. The Investment Analyst will be a key member of the Investment Office and will help support senior team members in the evaluation of new investment opportunities. The role is a unique opportunity for early-career investment professionals to gain experience working across asset classes (including hedge funds, global equities, fixed income, private equity, venture capital and real assets) and interacting with some of the world's premier investment managers. Good understanding of the capital markets and investment concepts. Knowledge of financial and investment systems. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving stills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Work, Outlook and Access. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
