****Must live in CST or MST (additional location restrictions will apply**** *Overview:* The role involves supporting callers with inquiries related to healthcare program eligibility, benefits, claims, prior authorizations, and general member or provider services. You will serve as a first point of contact, delivering accurate information and ensuring issues are resolved or routed appropriately. *Key Responsibilities:* - Answer inbound calls from members and providers regarding eligibility, benefits, claim status, and service authorizations. - Provide accurate, program-specific information in alignment with state and federal healthcare guidelines. - Resolve customer service and billing inquiries using sound judgment within established workflows and quality standards. - Conduct outreach to members or providers when additional information is needed to resolve complex cases or communicate claim/authorization outcomes. - Escalate grievances, appeals, and unresolved claim issues to the appropriate internal teams following established escalation protocols. - Document all customer interactions, actions taken, and outcomes in the system with accuracy and completeness. - Use active listening and probing questions to identify caller needs and determine appropriate next steps. - Research and verify member eligibility, benefit coverage, and claim details using multiple internal systems. - Educate providers on claim submission requirements, prior authorization procedures, and documentation standards. - Complete necessary follow-up tasks to ensure member and provider concerns are fully addressed and resolved. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* High School Diploma Strong computer, technical, and data entry skills Experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Previous customer service/call center experience is required. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Paso, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.20 - $18.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
