Software Engineer We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building secure, scalable, and modern enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong full-stack development experience, cloud expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, configure, and optimize enterprise applications and services * Build and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using modern technologies * Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver innovative, business-aligned solutions * Analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into effective system designs * Develop and execute unit tests as part of continuous integration practices * Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving development standards * Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support QA, UAT, and production environments * Contribute to architecture discussions and technology roadmap initiatives * Mentor junior team members and promote best practices * Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate What You'll Bring * 6+ years of professional software engineering experience * Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience * Strong proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and Git * Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab) * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK * Strong understanding of API development and modern software design principles * Experience working in secure cloud environments, including networking and security best practices * Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in fast-paced environments * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Nice to Have * Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana) * Exposure to front-end technologies (e.g., Angular) * Experience with Salesforce configuration or Apex Work Environment * Location: Kansas City, MO * Schedule: Hybrid (primarily onsite, with limited remote flexibility after onboarding) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
