*Job Title: Data Center Technical Lead / Trainer Support* *Location:* Columbus, OH
*Overview* We are seeking experienced *data center professionals* to support a largescale workforce development initiative tied to hyperscale data center expansion. This role is ideal for individuals with *handson infrastructure experience* who have progressed into *mentoring or leadership responsibilities*. This position combines *realworld data center operations* with *training and development*, helping prepare entrylevel technicians to succeed in live environments. *Key Responsibilities* * Support onboarding and development of entrylevel data center technicians * Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance on best practices and safety * Assist with server deployments, rack and stack, hardware installs, and troubleshooting * Translate technical concepts into clear instruction for newer technicians * Support classroom and labbased learning environments * Prepare training labs, tools, and infrastructure setups * Maintain documentation, reporting, and performance tracking * Collaborate with leadership and SMEs to improve training delivery *Required Qualifications* * *3-6 years of handson data center or infrastructure experience* * Experience working in *live data center environments* * Exposure to *rack and stack, deployments, and hardware support* * Experience mentoring, training, or guiding team members * Strong communication and ability to present technical concepts * Ability to lead by example in a team environment *Preferred Qualifications* * Fiber, lowvoltage, or structured cabling experience * Experience in hyperscale environments * BICSI or OSHA certifications * Bilingual preferred *Work Environment* * 100% onsite in Columbus, OH * Classroom, lab, and operational environments * Fastpaced, teamoriented setting * 5 days/week onsite *Compensation & Details* * *Pay: (flexible based on experience and skill level)* * Contract (3 months) with strong potential for extension * Longterm program expected to run *2+ years* *Why This Opportunity* * Work on a *largescale data center expansion initiative* * Longterm, stable project with *consistent extensions* * Opportunity to move into a *leadership / mentorship role* * High visibility supporting development of new technical talent *Additional Requirements* * Must pass BGC screening * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship) *Interview Process* * 1-2 rounds * Focus on: * Technical experience * Communication and teaching ability * Leadership and mentorship *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
