The Chief Strategic Project Eng role includes acting as the technical expert in strategic projects and related subjects within FedEx. They oversee the creation of strategic project development and design, identify and source consultants or contractors for specialized expertise, and stay updated on new technologies to inform the manager about potential new products and business opportunities. Essential Functions
Minimum Education Bachelors degree in engineering. Minimum Experience Eight (8) years of directly related aircraft engineering experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills. Computer programming abilities. Job Conditions Some travel required. Preferred Qualifications: Aircraft Structures or Aeronautical Engineering Degree Preferred Aircraft Structures or Aeronautical Engineering Degree Preferred. Extensive Experience in Design and Support of Structures/Structural Installations. Extensive knowledge with FAA FARs 21,25,91,121 and Aircraft Design and FAA STC Certification.
