| Essential Job Duties |
This position reports to the Women's Basketball Head Coach. This position works closely with the women's basketball coaching staff, Director of Women's Basketball Operations, and other women's basketball support staff in the overall direction of a successful, Division I women's basketball program. Responsible for technical women's basketball analysis, strategic research and development, detailed game planning, and related activities. Directly supervises assigned student staff. Assists with recruiting activities and other women's basketball program functions, as permitted by
NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members.
Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create detailed scouting reports on opponents for each game for use by women's basketball coaching staff and student-athletes in weekly game preparation
- Create and analyze self-scouting reports on NC State following each game for use by women's basketball coaching staff and student-athletes in weekly game preparation
- Review and analyze opponents' game personnel and create analytic reports for use by women's basketball coaching staff and student-athletes in game preparation
- Collect in-game statistical data, analyze in real-time, and share key metrics and trends with women's basketball coaching staff for in-game application
- Supervise and assigned student video staff
- Assist the women's basketball coaching staff and women's basketball support staff with recruiting efforts, as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members
- Meet regularly with women's basketball coaching staff to review and analyze profiles, evaluation forms, and other information pertaining to prospective student-athletes
- Assist the Director of Women's Basketball Operations, under the direction of the Head Coach, with the strategic selection and scheduling of future opponents
- Attend all practices, team meetings, games, and other team functions, as requested and permitted by NCAA rules and policies
- Coordinate responsibilities with graduate assistants, undergraduate students, and other women's basketball staff members, as requested and assigned
- Present/speak to large audiences at team meetings, recruiting functions, etc. as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members
- Manage special projects as assigned by the women's basketball coaching staff

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree required.
|
| Other Required Qualifications |
- Four or more years of collegiate basketball playing and/or coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level.
- Proficiency with DV Sport, XOS, or similar software.
- Demonstrated analytic skills.
- Computer and video system literacy and expertise.
- Technical women's basketball knowledge.
- Strong organizational and motivation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
