At Synopsys, you will find a team that values curiosity, flexibility, and initiative, and gives you room to make a real difference.What You'll Be Doing:Administer U.S. employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, leave, and wellness, managing day-to-day operations and resolving issues end to endCollaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to deliver annual benefits processes like renewals and Open Enrollment, including plan updates and employee communicationsEnsure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements like ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA, and coordinate required filings with the IRS and Department of LaborServe as a primary point of contact for U.S. benefits vendors, carriers, and brokers, overseeing service delivery, contract management, and escalationsPartner cross-functionally to ensure accurate benefits setup, billing, eligibility management, and employee data integrity across systemsMonitor benefits costs, funding, and utilization trends, and support budgeting, reporting, and cost management strategiesMaintain compliant plan documentation like SPDs and plan documents, and create employee-facing materials that are clear, accurate, and up to dateThe Impact You Will Have:Improve the employee experience by making benefits easier to understand and useEnable the benefits team to scale effectively during periods of growth and transformationReduce manual work through better documentation, communication, and processesSupport strategic initiatives by turning data and insights into actionable improvementsBuild trust with employees and stakeholders through clear, consistent, and accurate benefits supportStrengthen compliance posture by maintaining current, accurate plan documentation and regulatory filingsCreate operational efficiency that allows the team to focus on higher-value work instead of firefightingWhat You'll Need:A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in benefits administration or HR operationsProven experience managing U.S. employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plansWorking knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance requirements like ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAAAbility to analyze benefits data and evaluate multiple factors to resolve diverse issuesStrong communication skills, with experience interacting with internal partners and external vendors or carriersDemonstrated ability to own and deliver projects or processes end to end within your area of responsibilityComfortable operating with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment while staying aligned with broader objectivesWho You Are:You can take a complex benefits question from an employee and turn it into a clear answer without making them feel lost in policy languageYou spot patterns in data or recurring issues and think about how to fix the root cause, not just the symptomYou manage multiple deadlines without dropping balls, like coordinating Open Enrollment while also handling a vendor escalation and a compliance filingYou know when to escalate and when to solve it yourself, and you are comfortable doing bothYou build relationships with vendors and internal partners that make your job easier because people trust you to follow throughYou are detail-oriented enough to catch errors in eligibility files or billing reconciliations before they become bigger problemsThe Team You'll Be Part Of:The team shapes the future of benefits at Synopsys, leading the strategy, design, governance, and administration of programs that support and empower our people globally, while delivering clear, engaging experiences that help employees make the most of what is available to them.Rewards and Benefits:We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs.
