Role Overview

The Manager, Workplace Services plays a strategic and operational leadership role, overseeing workplace experience, facilities operations, and service delivery across one or more AMER campuses. This leader is responsible for driving operational excellence, elevating hospitality standards, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality workplace experience that reflects our culture and values.
Partnering closely with regional REWS leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners, the Manager sets the vision for workplace operations, leads a high-performing team, and ensures our spaces remain safe, efficient, and adaptable to evolving business needs. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, operational oversight, and strong people leadership.

Key Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Provide strategic oversight for all workplace operations within assigned AMER locations, ensuring alignment with global REWS standards and business expectations.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, KPIs, and service delivery models that elevate the employee and guest experience.
  • Serve as the senior REWS representative for the site(s), acting as a trusted advisor to local leadership and business partners.
Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team encompassing workplace experience, facilities operations, and front-of-house services.
  • Build a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture grounded in service excellence and operational accountability.
  • Partner with regional leadership to support organizational growth, staffing strategy, and team capability development.
Facilities & Building Operations
  • Oversee the performance, reliability, and lifecycle planning of building systems across assigned locations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and security infrastructure.
  • Guide engineering and vendor partners to ensure optimal building health, timely maintenance, and consistent quality standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and oversee readiness for audits and inspections.
  • Liasion with landlords and support Sublease arrangements
Space Planning & Workplace Strategy
  • Provide leadership for space planning, workplace programming, and move operations, ensuring spaces meet functional, cultural, and utilization objectives.
  • Collaborate with Workplace Strategy, Design, and Technology teams to implement solutions that support flexibility, efficiency, and future growth.
  • Lead change management efforts related to space transformations, relocations, and new workplace initiatives.
Hospitality & Workplace Experience
  • Oversee the end-to-end employee and guest experience, ensuring hospitality, amenities, and onsite services are delivered with consistency and excellence.
  • Support Customer facing events and tours.
  • Guide the execution of onsite events, executive engagements, new hire onboarding, and customer visits in partnership with internal teams.
  • Evaluate and improve services and programs to meet evolving employee expectations and workplace trends.
Business Operations & Vendor Management
  • Manage operating budgets, forecast needs, and ensure fiduciary responsibility across workplace programs.
  • Lead vendor strategy, contract performance, and partner relationships to maintain high service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the workplace ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution, trend analysis, and a proactive approach to operations.
Safety, Risk & Continuous Improvement
  • Champion a safe, compliant workplace environment through proactive risk mitigation and adherence to EH&S standards.
  • Standardize operational processes, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement across all service lines.
  • Lead or support capital projects, tenant improvements, and strategic initiatives across the region.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Workplace Services, Facilities Management, Operations, or Corporate Real Estate within a fast-paced, multi-site or large-scale environment.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience managing diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, facilities operations, and vendor/contractor management.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Facilities Management or Workplace Experience certifications (e.g., IFMA, BOMA) preferred.
  • Experience with CAFM, IWMS, and work order management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Proven capability to lead through change, establish structure, and scale processes.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time with flexibility for extended hours during major events or operational needs.
