Overview (Scope of Role)

The Senior Quality Manager will interface with our customers in a proactive approach to assure our product offering is meeting customer expectation in a consistent manner. Oversight of the quality system and leadership to ensure integrity. Provide guidance to production team to make timely adjustment to align with merging market dynamic in regard of quality. Ultimately assure our product offerings stay competitive and adaptive to the markets we serve.



Responsibilities

    Leader of the Site Quality Program, ensuring the quality management system is implemented and effective in plant.
  • Coordinate and lead the site team in all internal and external audit events.
  • Ensure product quality control including means, methods and materials
  • Utilize RCI tools to investigate and resolve customer and internal quality issues.
  • Act as a technical adviser to support production team to resolve production process issue and improvement.
  • Manage the non-conforming product backlog including facilitating the disposition of product.
  • Work with TS&D to solve and reply to and customers' complaints.
  • New product and new raw material test/trial management through the PCR process.
  • Coordinate communication and management of recipes and critical SOP items through the PCR (Process Change Request) process and the CFS (Critical Success Factors) database.
  • Facilitate the weekly test batch review meetings to coordinate the various departments and review results of PCR related efforts.
  • Prepare the monthly quality statistics/presentation for use in customer meetings and the monthly management review meetings. Facilitate the monthly Management Review.
  • Complete Quarterly corporate quality reporting.
  • Visit customers as needed both to familiarize themselves with their process and to understand issues or claims.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in material science or engineering
  • 5+ years of industrial quality experience
  • Familiar with ISO system, problem solving, statistics.
  • Drive change, customer facing communications, details analysis
