SUMMARY

The Communications Specialist plays a key role in keeping Seacoast Bank associates informed, engaged, and connected to our strategic priorities. Reporting to the Communications Manager within Human Resources, this role supports enterprise-wide internal communications and partners closely with HR, leaders, and business teams across the organization.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and translating complex information into clear messages that resonate with associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES



  • Draft, edit, and publish intranet content that support enterprise initiatives, HR programs, and leadership messaging
  • Develop and distribute content for weekly internal newsletter
  • Execute communication requests in alignment with established intake processes and editorial calendar, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met
  • Support leader communications, including announcements and internal updates
  • Assist in planning and execution of associate events, including quarterly All Associate Calls
  • Pull intranet metrics and maintain reporting dashboard to recommend improvements based on data
  • Support rapid response communications to inform associates of timely events or critical updates
  • Maintain and monitor internal mailboxes, responding to inquiries or routing messages as appropriate
  • Contribute to additional internal communications projects and initiatives as business needs evolve



EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE



  • Excellent written communications and editing skills; ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience supporting internal communications preferred
  • Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field
  • 1-3 Years Experience in related role
