As a Legal Intern, you'll be an important part of our Legal Department, working alongside a dynamic in-house legal team on real-world transactions spanning brand licensing, technology, real estate, and corporate matters across multiple jurisdictions in North America. You'll work closely with the Vice President, Associate General Counsel, gaining valuable insights into legal operations within a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment. This hands-on role is designed to sharpen your research, analytical, and communication skills - and if you're looking for an internship that goes beyond busy work and prepares you for a career in transactional law, this is it.



What You'll Do:



  • Gain exposure to a multi-jurisdictional transactional practice across North America, including brand licensing, technology, real estate, and corporate matters.
  • Conduct research on various legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to support the legal team.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Support the maintenance and organization of the legal department's contract database and filing systems.
  • Prepare memoranda, summaries, and presentations for the legal team as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the Legal Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal team.



What We're Looking For:



  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a law degree program or related field.
  • Prior work experience preferred; experience in a corporate legal or administrative capacity is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of legal principles, terminology, and research techniques.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • A positive, dynamic attitude to foster strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Demonstrated beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint); aptitude to learn legal tools such as contract management software, legal research databases, and document management systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to work remotely and meet all U.S. work authorization requirements without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a criminal background check.
