Inserts tool holders or installs pre-set tools in machine. Sets and sharpens tools as necessary Adjusts tool travel distances Writes, modifies and inputs required program instructions Monitors machine operations, inspects machined parts to ensure job specification maintenance. Selects from a variety of standard methods to inspect intricate parts Improves machining method and builds special form tools as needed Required Skills and Qualifications Experienced CNC Machine with hands-on expertise in CNC Haas milling (3-4 axis) Experience in aerospace, medical devices, defense manufacturing, and aluminum/steel components. Perform setups, changeovers, first article inspections Reading and interpret blueprint-based measurements while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. CNC Haas Milling (Operation & Setup) Experience with Mori Seiki & Takamaz CNC Lathes Experience with Fanuc Control Panels Reading Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation First Article Inspection (FAI) Utilizing precision measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Gauges and Optical Comparator Inspection Quality Control & Documentation Changeover & Tool Offset Adjustments PPE Compliance & Daily Machine Maintenance Required Experience and Education Vocational, H.S.
