What will you do as Value Stream Leader at Sealed Air?

The Value Stream Leader will partner closely with the Plant Manager to lead and develop manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong people-development culture across the value stream.

This role is highly focused on leadership over management-building capability in supervisors and teams, strengthening ownership at all levels, and creating a positive, accountable, and performance-driven environment in a facility currently undergoing cultural transformation.

You will oversee approximately 150 associates and be responsible for aligning daily execution with long-term strategic and operational goals.

Why do we need you?

  • Lead end-to-end production operations aligned with Global Supply Chain strategy, safety, quality, and delivery objectives
  • Set and execute short- and long-term production plans in partnership with the Plant Manager
  • Develop and strengthen Group Performance Leaders (GPLs) and Team Performance Leaders (TPLs) through coaching and capability building
  • Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and process stability
  • Act as a culture builder in a site undergoing transformation, reinforcing accountability, engagement, and positive leadership behaviors
  • Own daily operational performance and ensure alignment of resources (people, equipment, materials) to business needs
  • Identify and lead operational improvements and engineering initiatives, including new product introductions
  • Remove barriers for teams and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration across production, quality, maintenance, HR, and planning
  • Promote a strong ownership mindset and ensure leaders at all levels are developing their teams consistently

What skills will help you succeed?

  • Proven leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Strong ability to lead through others (supervisors, group leaders, and frontline teams)
  • Demonstrated success in people development, coaching, and internal promotions
  • Strong Lean Manufacturing mindset (Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred but not required)
  • Ability to drive process improvement and operational problem-solving
  • Experience working in environments with cross-training gaps or operational variability
  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • High ownership mindset and ability to operate in ambiguous or changing environments
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret operational performance data (Excel and analytical tools)
  • Ability to lead cultural change and improve team engagement

Pay Transparency

  • $93,100 - $160,655 annually

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined byconsidering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment.
