This is a 6-month, 40 hr/week contract role with a hybrid schedule of 4x/week working on-site in Hollywood, CA.

We are seeking a Post Production Coordinator to support the Live-Action Kids & Family TV team for our client. This position would focus on a wide range of unscripted programming (from large scale competition shows both in the field and in studio to smaller docuseries aimed for a family audience), and scripted series.

The Role

A successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of post production, and hands-on experience working on shows in post. They should be passionate about post, self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, team player, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.

Responsibilities:

-Work in tandem with post executives to onboard and support productions

-Track and oversee all post schedules, keeping things up-to-date and well-communicated

-Create and coordinate document distribution and post information workflow, schedules, post resources, with emphasis on updating, maintaining, and championing the use of technology and databases. -Manage frequent communication with show partners and update internal teams on deliveries and deadlines particularly on projects with tight timelines.

-Pix Dailies and Cuts onboarding, administration and support

-Data aggregation - Post Schedules, Post Info, Personnel/Facility - into the ecosystem and streamline digital workflows

-Coordinate internal/external screenings and creation/transfer of necessary assets

-Distribution of technical docs, guidelines to post teams

-Track incoming cut deliveries and ratify against published schedules.

-Perform special project research for production executives as needed.

-Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on production/post-management in nonfiction production

Ability to respond after hours for important, timely, or urgent matters.

A high-performance team player who operates efficiently and with empathy in a fast-paced team-oriented setting.

Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.

Understanding how to prioritize and respond accordingly in the best interest of the team.

Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production/post processes.

Strong understanding of traditional production/post schedules and paperwork.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $55-$65 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
