Your future starts here. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Are you enthusiastic about cultivating talent and enhancing skills in others? As the Manager of Machine Operator Qualifications, you will be a key facilitator in implementing and managing effective training programs for machine operators across CPKC's Southern region territory. In this position, you will train, mentor, and assess Engineering employees to ensure they meet the required standards of proficiency and machine operation. You will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive training records, identifying further training opportunities, and overseeing the qualification and disqualification processes for Engineering personnel. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, advancing workforce capabilities, and upholding the organization's safety standards. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Management Conductor Program Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
