Sigma Defense is seeking an Inventory/Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL.
  • Experience with JAMIS Manufacturing and asset management systems is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field of study is preferred.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee the storing and receiving of products and supplies.
    • Ensure that inventory levels are maintained accurately to meet operational needs.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate accurate inventory reports using tools such as Microsoft Excel and inventory management software to track stock levels and identify trends.
  • Shipping/Receiving:
    • While primarily this pertains to the receipt of all the ordered goods, this position will be responsible for shipping things on occasion.
  • Quality Control:
    • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and implement protocols for loss mitigation and inventory optimization, contributing to overall supply chain efficiency.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
