Job Title: Sanitation Associate I
Location: Pompano Beach, FL 33069
Duration: 4+ months
Schedule: Per week 2-15min breaks & 1-30 min Lunch break Shift begins at 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Example: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, off off OR Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, off off OR Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri off off)
Note:
- Please make sure they understand they maybe ask to work weekends to include Sunday as a standard day as part of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- We have an urgent need for 2 sanitation temps to start as soon as possible to do routine general sanitation work inside the warehouse (sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.). Hours will be 8 hours shift during day.
- Safety Boots- (Composite or steel toe) will be required.
Environment:
The working climate will be cold and some area's will be wet, The entire shift would be completed standing . Those working in the wet areas will be provided rain gear. Others should dress warm as needed, that would be the workers call.
Experience & Responsibilities:
- 0-3 Years of Experience.
- The required task to be performed as general labor work.
- Sweeping, empty out trash cans to the compactor, replace trash liners, picking up loose debris wood chips, picking up food from the floor if any.
- Mop up spills, Dusting, wiping down areas. Assist other team members if required.
- It would be helpful if they can operate a floor scrubber or use a pallet jack but not required, those that want to learn would be taught the basic operating use of the equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining the organization's facilities and grounds in clean and orderly condition, in accordance with the company's standards.
- Activities include Cleaning/sanitation of company facilities, including custodial work, dishwashing and laundry services.
- Maintaining grounds, including gardening and the general repair and maintenance of those grounds.
- Upkeep and organization of parking areas, including valet services, on company grounds.
- Positions for laundry and linen administration within specific industries such as hospitality and healthcare are included.
Warehouse Don't:
- The use of electronic devices (Phones, Earbuds, headphones) are not allowed due to safety reasons on the warehouse floor.
- While the temps are working, we have the night selection team selecting product, Its important that they hear horns and are paying attention to avoid accidents.
- Eating in the warehouse floor is not allow. (except in designated areas as the break or lunchrooms).
- Smoking in any form while in the building is not allow except in designated area outside the building
