Position Summary

The Northeast Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales and distribution of ZOLL automated external defibrillators (AEDs), manual external defibrillators, tracking software, and related accessories across assigned market segments in the Northeast. This role works through manufacturer representatives and distributors and partners closely with Channel Partner Managers to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth in the region

Essential Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout the assigned region to call on current and potential channels for sales, including sales representatives, managers, distributors, and end-user customers.
  • Manage and motivate distribution channels through territory planning, product training, and joint sales calls.
  • Coordinate leads, orders, and quotes through manufacturer reps and distributors.
  • Conduct product training for distribution partners as needed.
  • Develop and execute the annual corporate sales action plan.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows, as well as sales and marketing meetings.
  • Maintain routine communication with distribution channels and ZOLL support personnel.
  • Complete and submit administrative paperwork on time.
  • Support marketing plans and coordinate execution to drive market growth.
  • Provide monthly business updates and input for staff and quarterly meetings.
  • Prepare results and insights for quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensure relationship visibility through consistent reporting and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Four-year BS/BA degree, or a minimum of five years of experience selling capital equipment through distribution.
  • Defibrillator experience is a plus.
  • Strong written, oral, and organizational skills.
  • Previous managerial experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and people-management skills.
  • Experience developing markets for new and emerging medical technology.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, drive, and results orientation.

Travel and Work Requirements

This position requires approximately 65% travel and a strong ability to manage time, priorities, and territory coverage effectively. Because the role is channel-driven and highly field-based, the ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic planning with consistent in-market execution.

    The "at plan" compensation (Base Salary + Variable Incentive Compensation) for this position is:

    $290,000.00 which includes a base salary of $110,000.00 and commission in accordance with the company's sales compensation plan.
