The Logistics Coordinator safely delivers cylinders containing compressed gases and cryogenic liquids to customer locations. Delivers compressed gas and liquid cylinders to customer labs, storage, and loading areas. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a handheld scanner and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Returns empty cylinders to loading areas and coordinates pick up of cylinders by the delivery driver.

  • Daily Staging, Loading, Unloading, and verifying of cylinder quantities

  • Driver Support / Daily Communication & Job Completions

  • Safely loads / unloads compressed gas and liquid cylinders to and from delivery vehicles.

  • Communicates and coordinates on any cylinder shortages or inventory discrepancies with the supervisor.

  • Performs daily housekeeping and contributes in collaboration with the supervisor.

  • Filling of customer's cryogenic liquid dewars

  • Replaces lot stickers prior to refilling customer's dewars

  • Minor cylinder maintenance and repair activities

  • Resolving and finding solutions for customer issues

  • Upholds and follows all state and federal laws, regulations, and safety procedures.

  • Support a safe environment by sharing any accident or injury promptly with management

  • Operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment

  • Maintain neat, clean and orderly appearance for customer facing interactions

  • Ideally, you are comfortable managing your focus and contributing as part of a team

  • Perform mathematical calculations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operational / management support role.

  • Must be able to use a ratchet type securement system.

  • Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100lbs

  • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing and walking occasionally exceeding 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel).

  • Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAP highly desirable.

  • Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
