Job Description

Summary of Position

The primary responsibility for this role will be uncovering, developing, and closing large-scale opportunities within Unions or multi-employer healthcare plans that deal with comprehensive health solutions, in multiple states. Through your efforts, you'll guide these entities toward reduced costs and improved outcomes for patients in the areas of chronic conditions such as diabetes, pre-diabetes, and hypertension, Mental Health, and other Virtual Health programs. The ideal candidate will live in the Central to West part of the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • This role will focus on driving growth across employer and labor union (Taft-Hartley) markets, requiring a deep understanding of multi-employer benefit structures, jointly managed trust funds, and union-specific healthcare dynamics
  • Build strong customer relationships within HR & Benefits leadership
  • Establish & identify account priorities to develop business strategies along with a strategic plan
  • Develop operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast and account planning/mapping process for review with the Manager.
  • Maximize, drive and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget
  • Help increase market share by prospecting and identifying new opportunities
  • Accountable for issue resolution and customer satisfaction at account(s) within assigned geography
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer's needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players (payers and providers), relevant products and technologies
  • Work closely with manager and Sales Leadership to develop strategy to broadly address the mid- market opportunity
  • Responsible for helping to onboard new Mid-Market Sales Executive via mentorship
  • Travel up to 50%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven track record of success working withlabor unions and/or Taft-Hartley benefit funds
  • 3+ years of experience with Taft-Hartley fund structures, governance models, and collectively bargained health benefits
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills across diverse audiences, including boards of trustees and union stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex buying groups, including trustees, union leadership, and third-party administrators
  • Experience in managing and selling in a regulated medical products or healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience successfully navigating the benefits ecosystem (consultants, brokers, payers, TPA, etc.) to drive growth
  • Established relationships and network within labor unions and/or Taft-Hartley funds in the Western U.S. region, with a demonstrated ability to generate opportunities and accelerate sales cycles
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with highly talented sales professionals
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization

The base salary range for this position is$150,000 - $160,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2026.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, educationlevel, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
