Job Description

The Manager, Mortgage Loan Servicing Business Analytics is primarily responsible for supporting all Mortgage Servicing Leaders in the management of the business line and leading a team of analysts. This position is accountable for leading various strategic initiatives/projects as well as ensuring strategic delivery of data analytics, reporting, and quality assurance to support a diverse set of business areas and objectives.

This position will lead a team responsible for the development of tools and proactive identification of solutions to address business needs; including establishing metrics for performance, tracking progress through complex report development and analysis, communicating and presenting results to executive leadership, identifying reporting/data efficiencies, automation, and other process improvements.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will define and manage business requirements, test plans, and rollout schedules for process automation initiatives.
  • You will lead direct reports by setting expectations and supporting hiring, training, development, and coaching.
  • You will anticipate and resolve issues while maintaining a performance framework that supports team productivity.
  • You will monitor workloads and balance resources to meet business demands.
  • You will design and deliver Loan Servicing reports to assess performance, capacity, and risk, sharing insights with leadership.
  • You will develop management tools and process improvements by analyzing complex business issues, financial impacts, and reporting gaps.
Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related degree, and 8-10 years of experience in an analytics role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills; must be able to independently solve complex problems and identify solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quantifiable benefits through improved operational efficiencies, organized work flow, and process improvement
  • Advanced understanding of financial and data analysis best practices, including knowledge of management information systems
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong aptitude to collect and analyze information and make appropriate recommendations to senior leaders in a timely fashion
  • Understanding of Risk culture, KPIs and ability to blend quality reporting with production reporting
  • Excellent organizational and PC skills; ability to perform financial and data analysis using multiple PC applications
  • Technical working knowledge to include PowerBI and SSRS (SQL server reporting server)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop reporting using SQL
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan servicing data and processes
