Job summary:

The Chassis Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations by accurately maintaining, tracking, and coordinating chassis-related data across internal systems. This role operates in an audit-level accuracy environment, where precision and data integrity are critical to business operations. The coordinator works cross-functionally with sales, production, and engineering teams to ensure all chassis records, reporting, and documentation are consistently accurate, aligned, and up to date. The Chassis Coordinator works independently within established procedures with the specific job function.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update chassis data within OEM and internal systems with audit-level accuracy.
  • Order chassis inventory in OEM systems, as well as through dealers when needed.
  • Track and monitor chassis status, production updates, and inventory records, ensuring real-time data integrity.
  • Review, validate, and reconcile data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Inform sales, engineering, and dealers of chassis product updates from manufacturers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional updates to ensure consistency across all systems and reports.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute detailed reports, logs, and spreadsheets related to chassis activity.
  • Assign and track production numbers and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support order processing by entering and verifying critical data points.
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready documentation and records.
  • File for chassis manufacturer rebates and incentive programs payable to BU dealers.
  • Communicate updates, issues, and discrepancies from OEM's clear to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to sales, production, and engineering teams.
  • Inform sales, engineering, and dealers of chassis updates from manufacturers.
  • Support the sales team and communicate chassis availability and areas of concern.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP or OEM systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write notes and memos.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and communicate across multiple departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.

  • High proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Must have close attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of related experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $70,304 - $85,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay. Our pay for performance philosophy allows top performers to earn more based on their continued success.
