We are looking for experienced electricians who take pride in their craft, understand the importance of doing the job right, and are comfortable working in a collaborative, professional environment alongside engineers, scientists, and facilities teams.

- Plans, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and tests electrical systems for new construction, building renovation, and building modification.

- Routes and installs signal lines for telephones, computer networks, and other communication systems.

- Performs all required preventative and corrective maintenance to electrical systems and components on Laboratory grounds.

- Installs, maintains, and operates emergency backup generators and electrical systems.

- Interacts with Laboratory administration and scientific staff in the performance of job duties.

- Performs tasks and duties as directed by the Electrical Services Manager.

Education & Training:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Completion of a vocational program or recognized electrical apprenticeship

Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience

Skills:

* Valid driver's license

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments
