COMPENSATION: $20 - $23 hourly Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Assist in completing construction and other tasks in a safe and productive manner while providing a positive construction experience for our patrons. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Practice proper construction methods with on the job training Ability to properly use hand and power tools, climb ladders, and measure and square projects without direct supervision in the construction of commercial or farm buildings and/or grain systems. Able to use necessary equipment to complete projects:
Complete jobs in a timely, safe manner. Perform necessary maintenance on trucks, tools and equipment. Keep clean and safe job sites. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Attend company and department meetings and training programs. Follow all company policies, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 year or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of construction skills. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Continuously exposed or required to:
Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands. Ability and willingness to participate in required training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
