Position summary

One of two key resources that will be instrumental to the continuity of operations, maintenance, and enhancements constituting the overall management and progression of the customer's SharePoint Online (SPO) environment.

The SharePoint Development - Applications Programmer - Lead (.NET) shall report directly to the Project Manager and serve as the lead SharePoint Development Lead working closely with the OpenText Application Lead as well as application development and technical leads.

What will you do in this role?

Provides support in developing the site concept, interface design, architecture, and implementation of applications and corresponding interfaces (if applicable). Working knowledge and experience coding in the following languages may be necessary: JavaScript, Active Server Pages, .NET, C#, Visual Studio, HTML, and DBMS platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.). The ideal candidate should also demonstrate proficiency with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph API to support seamless integrations across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Experience with source control tools such as Azure DevOps or Git, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, is strongly preferred. A working understanding of SharePoint site architecture, taxonomy, metadata management, and governance best practices is essential to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • +5 years of hands-on experience leading SharePoint Development.
  • Supporting SharePoint projects providing management, technical, and functional support.
  • Engaging directly with web application programmers, Agile DevOps, .NET, Java, SOAP, REST API technologies.
  • Experience with PowerApps, and Power Automate solutions
  • Must have over 5 years of experience implementing SharePoint Online, PowerApps, and Power Automate solutions, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into functional, user-friendly digital solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum development methodologies is required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance standards is highly desirable, particularly given the government-facing nature of the applications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance as a condition of the contract engagement.

Preferred Certifications/Experience:

  • Experience with informatics and mHealth systems.
  • Experience or knowledge of govt agency systems.
  • Candidates holding a Microsoft certification such as the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate will be given strong preference.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance standards is highly desirable, particularly given the government-facing nature of the applications.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $145,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
