Safety



  • Actively cares, promotes, manages, and advocates safety at Western States. As a leader and team member in the organization, it is critical to ensure all employees, vendors, and clients have a safe work environment while adhering to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.
  • Maintains clean/clutter free personal work areas to ensure safe environments for all WSECO employees.
  • Adhering to required personal protective equipment (PPE) as identified in safety policy.


Customer Support and Administration



  • Communicates the customer value proposition of digital offerings provided by WSECO and Caterpillar
  • Contacts assigned prospects through telephone as well as other digital channels to uncover opportunities, new user sign-ups, and customer issues.
  • Provides support of customer onboarding for digital and traditional sales aids, website content, social media, tradeshows and events.
  • Verifies and updates customer contact and equipment information within our Microsoft AX database. Responsible for identifying customers who are no longer in business.
  • Continues to develop expertise in products and services through training, research and learning.
  • Assists in the coordination of customer events, outings, and meeting support.
  • Completes projects at the direction of WSECO Leadership
  • Adheres to all customer care standards.
  • Actively cares for and advocates safety at Western States. Adheres to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Works within and promotes corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Must be a good listener with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn new software as it relates to reporting and program analysis.
  • Ability to self-manage and set priorities for multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Capable of maintaining effective working relationship with others.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with productivity tools, tactics and software programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, and others.)
  • Ability to travel as needed.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum one year of comparable experience required. Preference given for student's currently enrolled in post-secondary education courses.


Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
