These are the qualifications that matter.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier development skills
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI preferred
• Experience with SAP required

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers for production components and heavy equipment
• Support supplier development for welded steel fabrications and structural parts
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations (quality, cost, delivery)
• Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing strategies
• Create and manage purchase orders to meet production and project timelines
• Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
• Lead sourcing initiatives to reduce costs and improve supplier performance
• Utilize tools such as ABC analysis, Pareto analysis, and supplier scorecards
• Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and communication
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on specifications and timelines
