Your Impact

As the Director of Change Management, you are the primary architect of the strategic direction and lead the change management function within SSPO. You will lead a high-performing team of global and regional change managers, empowering them to design and implement change initiatives that minimize disruption and maximize the value ofnew salestools, processes, and AI-powered workflows. You will serve as the primary liaison between your team and executive leadership, ensuring that our change strategies are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with Cisco's globalsales objectives. Your team will be the bridge between the center and the geos and functions, keeping the global plan consistent while giving geos the agility to adapt and execute locallyYou willbe responsible for:

Strategic Leadership & Team Management:

  • Provide vision, mentorship, and career development for a team of change management managers, fostering an environment of continuous learning, psychological safety, and high performance.

  • Oversee the team's portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring consistent application of change management methodologies across all global sales projects.

  • Manage resource allocation and prioritization to ensure the team is effectively supporting high-priority sales transformations, AI-driven capabilities, and process improvements.

  • Act as an executive advisor to senior sales leadership, providing insights on adoption trends, resistance points, and the overall health of change initiatives.

Sales Transformation Strategy & Execution:

  • Own the end-to-end change management strategy for high-priority global sales initiatives, sales process and tool evolutions, enablement programs, and the integration of AI-powered workflows and capabilities.

  • Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments toidentifyrisks, adoption barriers, and persona-specific resistance points across diverse global teams.

  • Develop and execute multi-channel change plans that integrate sponsorship, communication, training, and support to ensure seamless adoption.

  • Oversee the execution of change plans, monitoring adoption rates, gathering feedback, and proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful implementation of process,tool, and AI ways of working.

Cross-Functional Execution & Integration:

  • Partner acrossGeo and Functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of change initiatives.

  • Proactivelyidentifyand mitigate implementation risks, adjusting strategies in real-time tomaintainmomentum and minimize disruption to sales productivity.

Sponsorship, Stakeholder Partnership & Champion Networks:

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and build strong, collaborative relationships with global and regional sales stakeholders and leaders.

  • Partner with Sales Operations to enable Sales leadership to foster a culture of adoption, building buy-in at the executive level.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for leaders to voice concerns,facilitatingopendialogueand addressing objections with empathy and clarity.

  • Develop and deliver targeted, high-value training resources that focus on the practical application of new tools and AI capabilities, emphasizingthe whatis init for me (WIIFM)for sellers.

  • Cultivate and manage a network of Change Champions to drivegrassrootsadvocacy and peer-to-peer support.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Define and track critical KPIs (e.g., toolutilization, process adherence, and AI adoption rates) to measure the success of transformation initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Analyze post-implementation data and qualitative feedback toidentifytrends, diagnose performance gaps, anditerate onchange strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Translate complex technical and process data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Share best practices and lessons learned with the broader global change management community.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS (or equivalent) with 12+ years of experience in Change Management, Business, or Organizational Development, including 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity leading teams through large-scale organizational transformations.

  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and transformation within a global, matrixed environment.

  • Experience driving the adoption of AI-powered workflows, CRM platforms, or complex sales enablement technology.

  • Deepexpertisein change management methodologies such asProsciADKAR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional coaching and talent development skills with a proven track record of scaling high-performing teams.""Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and drive consensus in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Relevant certifications such asProscior CCMP are highly preferred.

  • Experience working with sales leadership in a specific geo or business unit.

  • Experience with complex sales enablement technology.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in a related field.

Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S. and/or Canada: The starting salary range posted for this position is $174,900.00 to $221,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:

  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

  • 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

  • Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees

  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours ofunused sick timecarried forwardfrom one calendar yearto the next

  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

  • 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

  • Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:

New York City Metro Area:

$207,600.00 - $329,300.00

Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:

$187,100.00 - $294,600.00

* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
