Summary
Provides support for key initiatives involving different teams across the hospital related to quality and clinical compliance at the direction of site Office of the Chief Medical Officer leadership. The role will help ensure smooth operations and contribute to the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role will support the execution of long and short-term goals for the MGB quality and clinical compliance programs. Responsible for the execution of the clinical compliance programs for the hospital and is responsible for a variety of functions within the Quality Department, including database management, data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as providing support to the department in achieving departmental and organizational quality goals. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Completes compliance activities, ensuring adherence to standardized processes around tracer activity, site-level preparedness activities, and measuring/monitoring compliance. -Supports the Quality and Clinical Compliance team in completing compliance activities to ensure regulatory standards are met. -Responsible for submitting required documentation and reports to relevant accrediting and regulatory bodies. -Executes quality performance improvement plans and partners with local teams and department or floor-based teams to implement improvements as needed. -Executes and tracks the performance of process changes or performance improvement activities. -Understands data provided by the system team and uses knowledge of local practices to identify areas of opportunity for improvement, as well as communicate to the system areas that are at risk. -Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, quality improvement program, safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
