Description MaineHealth,the largest health care system inMaine, is seeking aBoard Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologistto join a team of 6 gastroenterologists and 3 advanced care providers in its Southern Region, in Biddeford, ME. In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient consultation at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford,a non-profit, full-service community hospital with 160 acute carebeds, there are opportunities to provide clinical instruction to students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, internal medicine residents and advanced practice providers. Additional opportunities will include joining the core faculty for the GI fellowship and participating in clinical research activities through the MaineHealth Institute for Research. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives.
